ABOUT THE ARTIST

Artist Shubham Kairi is a young, self-taught Indian pencil artist who is passionate about creating photo-realistic drawings using graphite and colored pencils.

He draws from photographs, focusing on exaggerated details and carefully constructed chiaroscuro effects. Nearly perfecting the real, he has a unique style characterized by the extreme photorealism in all his compositions. Focusing on a variety of subjects he shows a great deal of flexibility and ease with the materials and techniques he uses. For him, the drawings are part of an ongoing exploration and artistic development.

He is quite active on social media platforms on Facebook and Instagram. He also has a dedicated channel on YouTube wherein he regularly shares his pencil drawings and works in progress. He wants to impart the knowledge of Art to every aspiring Artist and hence he is regularly taking Live Art classes for Basic and Advanced Art students. He motivates all his students to observe and practice till they reach perfection.
